martel probaby wouldnt take it in the butt. his push ended.
Marcus, you agree with everything Jake says. So bad so that you’ll go back on what you had just said if Jake Has a different opinion. It’s with everything dude. What makes good duo’s is having them have different opinions and each person sticking to what they believe and explain why. *also, and I’m not intentionally trying to be a dick but stop trying to come across like you was and is one of “the boys”, as if you were in the locker room and driving in those cars traveling city to city back in them days and trying to make it seem like you know even know a tenth of what it is and what it was like to be in the WWF
How about how he giggles at everything Jakes says too.
That’s. Mr. Backlund!!!!!!!
you ´re fired 0 dead 0 dead 0 dead 0 vince dead 0 dead 0
Part of being champion is being able to move merchandise what did Bad News have to sale?
Man, it's a shame to hear Ted speak the way he does now. Not that long ago I would listen to him preach and now he's talking like a sailor. I hate that. Just my opinion.
Gee maybe Vince put the belt on him cuz most of the roster was smokin, SNORTIN or drinking... Lookin at BOTH these two guys here btw.
My whole FAMILY wanted to throttle Martel for this. Yep, we were all Marks :)
Snake the Jake Roberts 🐍
Jake Roberts & Rick Martel turned a lame gimmick into a legendary match with the blindfold!
Rick's AWA title run seems to be very overlooked. Rick was very good. Unfortunately very overlooked
Somehow, that Stampede road schedule sounds a bit harder than the grind of today’s AEW stars.
The wrestlers ran alot mentally and physically and I don't know how they performed
I just got done rewatching rick rude grabbing Cheryls hand and than Rick airbrushing her face on his pants. That would be great for the two.
if you people dont like jake why do you watch and comment on his videos ? quit trolling and move on.
Sounds Like The Travel Back In The Eighties Was Brutal And The Pay Sucked Too !!!!!!!
What wrestling name did you use when you first arrived in Vancouver ❓
So what Hogan is to Bret, Bret is to Jake.
Jake's old man wasn't much better. Liked the little girls, they say.
This would make a great sitcom: Hart & Snake
thanks for everything Jake! truly a living legend who is EXTREMELY underrated
Jake is thinking of Sweet Brown Sugar/ Skip Young . His eye would drift .
Sarge is a bad ass . He was a general , not a Sgt
Sarge drew down on Billy Robinson .
I was alway the Barbarian on the playground because I was always the biggest kid and he teamed with my favorite Jake the Snake
Well you know
😂😂😂sounded like nash. I nver had a problem with brett😂
Bret has a legacy Jake doesn't have- Bret is a legend and has laid the groundwork for wrestlers today - Jake is known as a drunk who never reached the top - Bret made milliions and Jake didn't. Bret is more celebrated now and no one really talk about Jake. He's just jealous of Bret and Shawn.
Jake made memorable moments. Bret largely did not. Shawn was also great.
@@miesvaillanykyisyytta3252 uhhhh what are you smoking?
@@Bretisstillaboss Here's a run-down on Bret: -a physique so medicore he did not dare to take off his top -no memorable unique moves -no special athletic ability -boring wooden promos which consisted of him acting like pro-wrestling is "real" and talking highly of himself -generic gimmick which is the same as his promos He worked hard, was consistent and everything but the most memorable thing about his career is the Montreal Screwjob where the vastly superior wrestler Shawn Michaels beat him on his home turf.
Hahaha the moose got up and walked off. Props to Moose the wrestler too.
Jake should've slapped the DDT on that moose. Moose wouldn't have walked away.
Singular or plural it's still moose
Further evidence showing how solid and wholesome the Hart family was - just like the Brady Bunch!
They had a falling out when Jake accidentally ate one of his sausage patties for breakfast. To this day Bret calls it the JimmyDean Screw Job. Hopefully Bret can move on from it, but I doubt he will.
It wouldn't be a big deal but Jake tested out stu sleeper on Bret and when Bret came to he smelled maple sausage and checked the microwave caught the dokey aroma then went to the bathroom there was Jake taking a deuce and said hell yeah I ate it hey you want it back
To this day I question Pat's involvement
I didn't know that Bret had accused Jake of faking an injury. I think that partly explains why Jake had previously talked negative about Bret in the past.
In Bret's book, Bret calls out Jake for faking an injury during the time they were living together and in Stampede Wrestling. Bret says he basically caught Jake red handed Edit: 1:39 lmao there it is, the injury Bret says he caught Jake faking. I guess Jake still hasn't come clean about it.
Bret mentioned something about a fan calling out Jake in the bar by saying that he wasn't tough as a pro wrestler & that he'll bet a $100 that he could take Jake out. A newcomer by the name of Terry Sawyer told Jake: "Be over before we get out the door" He would later say that curiosity got the best of him & sure enough Jake was begging the guy off & Terry walked up to the guy & headbutted him square in the nose, knocking him out & looked over at Jake & told him "It's called protectin' the business, Jake!!!"
I'm not sure if people realize just how much an addiction like Coke especially crack can ruin someone mentally and physically. I've known many people that have kicked their addiction to stims and it's taken up to a year for the brain to find a homeostastic state. IE: Produce naturally occuring dopamine / serotonin. Not making excuses, but it's tough to manage a job and that kind of habit.
Risking your Life for 100 bucks.
So glad to hear Jake speak favorably of Bret...two of the Greatest
Jake also said Bret wasn't a good champion. I highly disagree with Jake but it's his opinion.
Undertaker said his hand was crushed from being locked in the casket
Wait…Was this in ‘86? The WWF was not doing contracts like they had later. Whereas this 90 day non-compete coming from?
Was this before Jake’s brain was rotted from drugs and drink? He wanted the spot and the authority and the money. Don’t think he was a caring altruistic man.
In the 1990 Royal Rumble ... Ted DiBiase who was No.1 in the ring, almost 40 or so minutes in got stuck on the far side (to the camera) ropes between Ultimate Warrior and Jim Neidhart who were just alternating hitting poor Ted with chop after chop because he kept falling back on the ropes and bouncing off them between chops. Anvil would chop him from Ted's right, he'd bounce off the ropes and Warrior would chop him from Ted's left etc etc. They actually got in about 7 or 8 shots before he eventually he did what Jake said, he couldn't take any more and dived for the mat.
I remember the first time I saw the tape of the Great American Bash where Sting beat Ric Flair for his first NWA/WCW World title and Jim Ross in commentary noted just how beet red Sting's chest was after all the chops Flair had laid into him. And a lot of those Sting had to no sell even if they were, pardon the pun, stinging like a son of a bitch.
I would like to get Jake’s opinion on those AEW chopfests. I think they have a guy from New Japan that does a whole bunch of slaps (they call ‘em chops) that have no wind up or much impact. To me, that and the My Turn Your Turn forearm exchanges are just part of the problem with the modern style.
It'd be cool to have seen Wahoo and Gunther have a chop-off
Wahoo McDaniel like Jake was one of my faves in South Florida a young Jake trying so hard to get over in the Florida territory when he came in . Had me hooked early on so he must have done a good job. 💯
Everyone says this
Let him rest he made peace before he died you guys are coming across as utter c^^^s!
Can ask you how the night out with the other superstars
Well in jake true freind dont answer silly questions about ur mate
Little person. Lol Turtle would knock you silly Jake. 🤣
Dear Jake, keep fighting, man.
There's a clip out there of Piper slapping him during one of his classic off the rails interviews when they were building him up for his feud with Hogan.
